Visiting Fellowship

The Dr Edward Koch Foundation Visiting Fellowship is a corporately-sponsored award made by invitation to an eminent scholar or practitioner from the national or international public health scientific community. In 2005, the Visiting Fellowship was funded by the Samuel and Eileen Gluyas Charitable Trust. The successful candidate was Dr. Christopher Lalonde, University of Victoria, Canada, who spent three months in North Queensland contributing his expertise in the field of North American Aboriginal Health, in particular the high incidence of youth suicide within Aboriginal populations.
