Masters in Public Health Awards
An unmet need for public health professionals in the Far North is propelled by population increase and growth in new tropical health issues in the region. By way of encouragement, two annual awards are made after graduation, one for the best overall Master in Public Health student, the other for the best student in the field of Indigenous Studies at James Cook University. The aim of these awards is to recognise talented individuals in their pursuit of a career in public health in North Queensland. For further information, phone Dulcie Bird, Executive Officer, Dr Edward Koch Foundation on 4031 0145. Donations to this scholarship are very much appreciated.
